Ever wonder what it takes to make sure our foam tape doesn't fail?
Here's a peek behind the scenes:
We stick a 25.4×300 mm strip, hang a 2 kg weight on it, and throw it into a chamber set at 60°C and 75% humidity — for over 72 hours straight.
Why? Because foam hates to delaminate, and we need to know exactly how much force it can really handle.
The result?
Our tapes routinely hold between 32 and 38 kg in shear strength. Some even break past 40 kg. That's serious holding power.
When we say our products are built to last, we've got the data to prove it.
